Fadik Erin is an artist who approaches human development as the carrier of individual and collective memory. Blending traditional motifs with contemporary narrative languages, she explores themes such as trace, incompleteness, and silence. She graduated from Marmara University's Department of Traditional Turkish Arts in 2019. Between 2013 and 2021, she worked as an assistant to master artist Devrim Erbil. She then continued her production by teaching at Pera Fine Arts and the ERC Workshop. She has participated in collaborative projects with painter Yahya Bağcı and mosaic artist Malik Kaya. In 2021, paintings were produced for the Ministry of National Education, and the same year, murals were created in collaboration with the Beykoz Municipality. Her works have been exhibited at events such as Artweeks Akaretler, Artcontact Istanbul, and PrizmaArt Gallery. She is currently preparing for her first solo exhibition, and as part of her project "Dek/Dak – Memory of the Body" (Dek/Dak – Memory of the Body), she aims to revive the fading Anatolian tattoo ceremony through art.
