I was born in Izmir in 2001. I completed my high school education in the Painting Department of Işılay Saygın Fine Arts High School. In 2019, I was accepted into the Painting Department of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and graduated in 2025. I primarily use oil paints in my work, but I also work in engravings. Throughout my academic career, I have had the opportunity to participate in various competitions and exhibitions with my work. I currently continue my work as an independent artist in my studio in Taksim, Istanbul.
While the cyclicity of life is explored scene by scene, the figure paints its own dead body, questioning its existence. The white cloth symbolizes birth and death; the cloth falling from the swaddling cloth becomes a shroud. Iris and higanbana flowers appear on the ground, reminiscent of a cemetery. These flowers symbolize the transience of life and the silent continuity born of death, making visible the trace and legacy that a person leaves behind.
