Born in 2000, video-performance artist Rumeysa Öztürk begins her art practice in search of a sense of belonging, but her work explores the feeling of not belonging that remains from past memories. Having studied in the studios of Tuğçe Diri and Rabia Seyhan, and currently pursuing a Master's degree in Art and Design at Yıldız Technical University, the artist continues this obsessive search in her practice, creating video-performances on a wide range of topics, from everyday concepts to life's events, exploring the interplay of obsession and belonging.
