Eylül Civelek was born in Istanbul in 2001. She graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramics and Glass, and also completed a double major in Graphic Design. During her undergraduate studies, she spent part of her time at the Accademia Di Belle Arti Di Verona in Italy. Throughout her education, she gained experience in many different fields and participated in various group exhibitions.
She has presented her works to audiences in various group exhibitions in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, and the Netherlands. During this period, she had the opportunity to work as an assistant to Horasan, and continuously developed her creative language by working with different materials and techniques.
Her works take shape as a kind of diary-keeping act. The exploration of textures, surfaces, and forms carries the traces of an inner journey and opens up a space for each viewer to connect with their own self. She continues her production in her Istanbul studio, ‘Arc Studio’.
