Mevsim Çağan was born in Istanbul on March 19, 2002. In 2021, she was accepted into the Painting Department at Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts. That same year, she participated in the Lions “New Searches” exhibition. In 2022, she received an honorable mention at the Sürreya Ağaoğlu Painting Competition; in 2024, she won both an honorable mention and an award. In 2023, she participated in the workshop and subsequent exhibition organized as part of the Naile Akıncı Retrospective. In 2024, she began working as a guide and painting instructor in the “Painting in the Dark” project at the Dialogue Museum. That same year, she also taught at the lithography printing workshop held as part of the Hilton's “International Leadership” event. In addition, she participated in the group exhibitions “Reflections” and “No. 56”. Later in 2024, she was accepted to the Munich Academy of Fine Arts through the Erasmus program. In 2025, she opened her first solo exhibition in Munich titled “Dear Diary, Memory Storage.” During the same period, she worked as a sound and video technician in an interdisciplinary installation performance project at Koesk München and participated in the Jahresausstellung 2025 group exhibition organized by the Munich Academy of Fine Arts. She graduated from the Painting Department of Mimar Sinan University in 2025/26.
