About The Artist

Contemporary Marbling Artist, TOÇEV Founder and Chairman of the Board

Ebru Uygun was born in Istanbul in 1971. After Saint George Commercial High School in Austria, he graduated from the Finishing School and the Department of Business and Marketing at Webster University in Geneva. During her student years in Switzerland, she did an internship at the Christian Children Foundation for two years. Realizing that donations were made from Turkey to foundations abroad during her internship, Ebru Uygun decided to establish a foundation. When he returned to Turkey, he worked as an Assistant Accounting Manager at Ipaş Iplik for a while. in 1994, he founded the Tüvana Okuma Willing Children's Education Foundation. Ebru Uygun is a Member of the Board of Directors of ELPA Textile, Vice President of the Artists and Art Lovers Association, Vice President of the Family Mediterranean Fever Association, and President of the 100 Years Işıl Education Foundation. Ebru Uygun, who has 6 books titled Room No. 102 (2005), Hearts I Touch (2006), Growing Up Together (2009), Gönül River (2013), Journey to Dreams in 180 Days (2018), I am the Hero of My Own Fairy Tale (2021), TYYB Junior Chamber Supporting Humanity and Volunteer Organizations/The Most Successful Youth Award Supporting Humanity and Volunteer Organizations (1996), Rotary/Achievement Award (2007), She has received Lions 118T/Achievement Award (2009), Hello Magazine/Diamond Heart Woman Award (2009), Eisenhower Fellow (2010), En Quality Foundation (2019) awards. She participated in the “Group Exhibition” organized by the Artists and Art Lovers Association (2008), the “Aid to Somalia Exhibition” organized by the Rotary Club of Silivri and the Artists and Art Lovers Association (2011), the “Hand-in-Hand Group Painting Exhibition” organized by the Artists and Art Lovers Association together with TOÇEV (2011) and the group exhibitions opened in America (2014) and Barcelona (2014) with her marbling works. in 2012, she opened the exhibitions ”I Touched“, ”EBRUca“ and ”EBRUca Bodrum“ in 2013, ”EBRUca Bahrain“ in 2014, ”Ebruca Reflection“ in 2018 and ”WE" in 2020.

About The Exhibition

The "Hope and Trust" Exhibition is organized in order to contribute to the “Women and Child Friendly Spaces” project carried out by the association in cooperation with Kültür A.Ş., the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality subsidiary of the Art for Goodness Association, in Hatay.
