About The Work

“Gökdelenim 3”, which emerged as a technical synthesis of Bedri Baykam's various series produced in different periods, is based on the strip paintings made by the artist in the mid-80s. In the work, which carries the material emphasis of the ”LolitArt-e“ series from the 2000s and the painterly layers of the ”this has been done before ‘Drip Series" from the 90s, we also feel the influence of graffiti and collage.
