Born in Istanbul in 1997, the artist, who produces in multidisciplinary formats, completed her undergraduate education at the Painting Department of Sakarya University. She is currently pursuing her graduate studies at the Painting Department of the Institute of Social Sciences at Sakarya University. In addition to the independent and experimental collective project she has initiated in Sakarya, the artist has also participated in the Base 2023 selection and participated as a Multimedia Collective in the group exhibition "Memory of Space / Collapse of Space" at the Sakarya Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture. Throughout her undergraduate studies, as a result of her research, experiences, and knowledge, the artist has focused on the "effects of human psychology on art," producing various participatory, installation, and digital works focusing on these topics. Furthermore, she continues her work in pursuit of a multifaceted synthesis driven by her interests in digital art, artificial intelligence, and neuroaesthetics. In the work "Işık-Button," this interactive art composition aims to translate obsessive-compulsive disorder or constantly repetitive mental cycles into reality through a light stimulation system. This structure, which mimics the functioning of the brain, reveals the both obstructive and internally contradictory nature of the disorder accompanying the artist's personal process. The work becomes an experience that reminds the artist that a way can be found in every situation during the creative process. Drawing inspiration from the concept of "Definition," Un-Definition explores a state of reality that is undefined, left undefined, or undefined. This lack of definition sometimes seeks its presence before the viewer, sometimes within human nature. Inspired by the architectural term "Un-Built," the work invites us to question the human condition, the places we are or are not, through unrealized and unfinished projects or ideas.
