Tuğçe Balcı was born in Kadıköy in 2001. She graduated from the Painting Department of Hitit University, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design in 2024. She continues her artistic productions as the 5th term artist of the “Art for Goodness” program conducted by DenizBank General Directorate.
The artist, who traces memory with her “Ruin Series”, focuses on the collapse of structures, temporal transformation and the relationship established with space. In her current works, she creates new layers of meaning through imaginary and utopian worlds. She continues her productions within the dynamic structure of contemporary art with the connections she establishes between physical and intellectual spaces.
