Sevilay Nurten Şahin was born in Istanbul in 1997. After studying painting at Aşık Veysel Fine Arts High School, she completed her high school education at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. After graduating from Yalçın Karayağız workshop (5), she worked as Mustafa Özel's assistant. She is among the 5th Term artists of the Art Association for Goodness's One Year in the Passage project. She currently continues her production at the One Year in the Passage workshop in DenizBank.

The window is not just a frame, it is a silent witness looking from the outside into the intimacy of love. The two figures, embracing each other, protect both their inner worlds and the space they have established together. This scene under the light is an expression of both a simple and infinite closeness.
