Background,
I was born in Istanbul in 1994 and I have lived my entire artistic life in the inspiring atmosphere of this city. My passion for painting, which started with paper and pencil at an early age, has an academic foundation at the Department of Painting of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. Over time, I started to produce motion designs by adding movement beyond painting to my art journey. By supporting my works with music, I have created a multi-layered and sensory language of expression. As I discovered different forms of expression in this process, my production became deeper and evolved into a personal language.
About the picture,
As the invisible fingers of time erode the image, who knows what will be left? Identity becomes a memory, and memories are erased like shadows that blend into the void. While the cow figure, which is a symbol of life and fertility, represents the cyclicity of nature and the continuity of existence, it also approaches the inevitable end in the face of time. This body, which was seen as a nourishing force in agricultural societies and a sacred being in mythologies, is now dissolving and dissolving into nothingness. As flesh and spirit separate, reality is filtered away and eventually all lines disappear. When the last traces are also lost to the stream, only nothingness remains.
