About The Artist;

I was born in Istanbul in 1999. I studied Graphic Design and Photography at Cağaloğlu Vocational High School. in 2017-2021, I studied at the Department of Painting at Namik Kemal University.  I have been one of the young artists supported by the Art For Good Association since 2022. However, my interest in art dates back to my childhood years.. I have participated in various group exhibitions throughout my student life. The sense of pleasure I experienced in these exhibitions reinforced my excitement to produce and I have Junked my life on this field. In my studies, I continue my productions on the forms of expression of my bird phobia, which developed as a result of a trauma I experienced in childhood. In addition to painting, I am very interested in techniques such as photography and collage. I want to exist in this field with my inner desire to express and the unique pleasure of producing. Jun. I aim to be a universal artist who does not give up producing. I continue my artistic activities in Istanbul, at the same time I work in the field of photography in a corporate company.

About The Work;

In the works included in the exhibition, the concept of freedom represented by the sea and birds is questioned through the bird phobia caused by a trauma experienced by the artist during childhood. Freedom and fear; the concepts of immensity and safe space, infinity and death are conveyed through the metaphors of birds' dead bodies and nests.
