About The Work

The word kaleidoscope means “a device that creates beautiful shapes with the help of lenses, mirrors and colored clippings” in Turkish. I have fictionalized the thousands of years of art history accumulation of this geography with a colorful narrative of the search for geometric perfection but order, like a colorful and intertwined device. I have fictionalized geometric art, Byzantine art, modern art references with phosphorescent colors in the impossibility of coming together in nature. Even if the light does not hit it and it remains in the dark, the colors in the work continue to reflect. It is like our cultural heritage, which is unknown and forms the mosaic known in Anatolia.  The work, painted in vivid colors in a multi-color composition, is a Kaleidoscopic image-based contemporary art adaptation with the theme of “infinity”, just like a traditional work of art at first glance.
