Born in Kayseri in 1992, Rabia Yıldırım Demirezen graduated from the Department of Art Education at Gaziosmanpaşa University.

She has participated in various group exhibitions since her university years.

In 2018, she opened her first solo exhibition, "Faces and Streets," at Toloman Art-Bitez.

In addition to painting, Rabia Yıldırım Demirezen also occasionally teaches art and organizes workshops with students.

She currently lives in Istanbul and is working on new series.

She has found artistic expression in various periods, from traditional to contemporary art; some artists accept these natural marks as part of the human body, while others associate them with themes of exclusion or difference.

Focusing on portraits of individuals who do not conform to accepted appearance norms, the artist questions the perception of those considered "abnormal" in social perception. By addressing the social status of individuals with birthmarks, she offers the viewer a different perspective. These images, staring directly at the viewer, encourage the viewer to consider birthmarks holistically, rather than simply as a distinguishing feature. This emphasizes how birthmarks align with an individual's identity and the need to question societal beauty norms.
