The Text of the Work
From traditional art to contemporary art, he has found a space for artistic expression in different ways; some artists consider these natural traces to be a part of the human body, while others have been associated with themes of ise exclusion or difference.
By taking portraits of individuals who do not conform to social norms of beauty, the artist questions how 'normal' Kabul is perceived and what kind of impressions it creates. By addressing the issue of birthmarks within the society that they have, it offers a different perspective on tracking. These images, which look directly at the viewer, lead the viewer to evaluate the other features of the face as a whole, instead of seeing them only as an element of difference. In this section, it is emphasized how birthmarks are in harmony with an individual's identity and that their total beauty norms should be questioned.
