Short Biography: He was born in Ankara in 1999. He studied painting at Ankara Fine Arts High School. Between 2021 and 2022, he studied at École supérieure d'art d'Aix-en-Provence Félix Ciccolini in France. He graduated from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Department of Painting in 2023. He is among the 5th Term artists of the Art for Good Association's One Year in Pasaj project. He has been the director of the workshops called Passport Intervention and Photo Intervention, which have been going on for about a year. He works as a Realizator (Stage Painter) at Ankara State Opera and Ballet.
Text of the Work: In this selection, the artist considers body, identity and self-perception as transforming structures. By using the self-portrait as a tool, he reconstructs the states of mourning, fragility and humanity of his personal memory. The figures are in an intuitive search for the essence of the self amidst the individual's internal conflicts and various power dynamics. In these productions, the possibility of individual liberation is only a possibility.
