About The Artist;
i was born in Iraq in 1983 and when I was three years old
I emigrated to Turkey with my family.
istanbul Marmara University in 2006
Since completing my master's degree at the Faculty of Industrial Engineering, I have been directing my passion to creating different forms. Since porcelain, as you know, is the most difficult type of mud to process, I am trying to combine both my knowledge of mathematics from my engineering background and my admiration for the perfection of nature, which deconstructs my works. In my works with porcelain, I am trying to remind you once again how perfect a harmony is nature, which tends to be forgotten and lost in the hustle and bustle of life. My working expression is such that it takes cues from numerous time periods without belonging to any of them. I like my relationships to be ambiguous. I do not work with any tools, molds or potter's wheels. I devote time to each work for days, sometimes for weeks, and I shape it only with my fingers. This means that each item
this comes in the sense that the moment in which it was made is special and time cannot be recreated.
