518. We are visiting the workshop of artist Desen Halıçınarlı at the Art Gathering. 

Desen Halıçınarlı was born in İzmir in 1983 and graduated from İzmir I.S. He graduated from the Fine Arts High School. In 2006, he graduated from the Painting Department of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University with honors. During his education, he received training in engraving and fresco application workshops. In the same year, he was accepted to MSGSU Painting Master's program and graduated with his thesis titled “The Use of Urban Image in Painting Art” in 2009.

between 2011-2022, he taught metal-linoleum printing at the Engraving Workshop of the Department of Fine Arts of Istanbul Technical University and Basic Design at the Faculty of Architecture Dec. Participating in many national and international exhibitions, the artist's works are included in various private collections. In 2022, he was selected for the UNDP's open call mural project in Denmark, themed as the 13th sustainable development goal "Climate Crisis". He personally applied the work in Timring, Jutland and it began to be exhibited for 5 years.
