505.We are visiting the artist Ezgi Sandıkçı at our Art Meeting.

Ezgi Sandıkçı was born in Bursa in 1979. he graduated from the Sculpture Department of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in 2004. He completed his master's degree at the same university in 2007 and completed the proficiency in art program in 2016. the artist, who started working as a lecturer at the Sculpture Department of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in 2010, is still continuing his studies at the same institution.

The artist works with materials such as mud and wood in his productions; he makes his works made of mud permanent with bronze or composite materials later. Arkıkçı, who usually works with abstract forms, sometimes adopts figurative approaches depending on the subject. In addition to the formal fictions inspired by the forms in nature, he also performs production on certain themes.

Among the international events in which the artist participated in many exhibitions and symposiums at home and abroad are the Luci Dec Ombre Del Legno Wooden Sculpture Symposium and Exhibition (Trento / Italy), the Free and 90 group exhibition (Berlin / Germany) and the Beyond the Time group exhibition (Dar Es Salaam /Tanzania).
