481.In our art meeting, we are visiting the workshop of artist Osman Bozkurt.

The artist graduated from the Department of Photography of Mimar Sinan University and gave lectures as a lecturer at various universities. he has been active in the field of contemporary art since the early 2000s. In his works, he testifies to the subconscious subtleties and forgotten paradoxes of life in the city through photos and videos in order to create an urban memory. Forms of identity and representation; urban life and architecture; gaps and ambiguities between public and private space; remembering and forgetting in the context of social memory; acceptance and rejection Dec; it forms the main axis of the works of public creativity with function and dysfunctionalization. He has participated in many domestic and international exhibitions.

Osman Bozkurt is the co-founder and co-director of PISTE/// Interdisciplinary Project Space, an independent, non-profit, artist-run space established in Istanbul in 2006. The artist lives in Istanbul and continues his studies.
