In our 469th art meeting, we visit the artist Tamer Şahinoğlu.
Tamer Şahinoğlu was born in Sakarya in 1962. He completed his primary and secondary education in Sakarya and his higher education in İzmir Dokuz Eylül University.
Şahinoğlu has been painting since his childhood and his works attracted the attention of the famous Turkish artist Fahir Aksoy. His paintings were first presented to art lovers in a group exhibition in 1990. With the encouragement of famous painters such as İbrahim Balaban, Nedim Günsür and Mehmet Pesen, he continued to paint without interruption. He has held more than 25 solo exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. His works are included in many important collections.
Tamer Sahinoğlu still continues to work in his studio in Bodrum, where he settled in 1999.
