In our 463rd art meeting, we will visit the Istanbul Museum of Art (Haliç Shipyard), Istanbul's first public contemporary art museum.
The historical shipyard, also known as the Istanbul Art Museum, whose extensive restoration works were completed by IBB Department of Public Works and the re-functioning process was undertaken by IBB Heritage, opened its doors with the exhibition “Ah Beautiful Istanbul”, which brought together different collections and institutions. The exhibition, which is the result of a collective effort, brings together the leading collections of the art world, including the Ekrem İmamoğlu Collection, Ulaş Değirmenci Collection, Mustafa Taviloğlu Collection, Merey Collection, İyem Collection, Dr. Şükrü Bozluolcay Collection, Meir Dalva Collection, Lale-Cengiz Akıncı Collection and Bilge Collection.
