Poor Things, directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, who is one of the important directors of world cinema with films such as Dog's Tooth, The Lobster, The Death of the Sacred Deer and The Courtier of the Palace, was released in our country on 9 February 2024.

The film received a standing ovation for 8 minutes after its screening at the 80th Venice Film Festival held this year. The film is described as ‘the best film of the year’.

Hailed by critics worldwide as Lanthimos' best film and winning the Golden Lion Award at Venice, the film is based on the novel of the same name by Alasdair Gray.
Described as a modern and original Frankenstein story and one of the most anticipated films of the 2023-2024 season, the film was released on 9 February. It is still showing in many cinemas.
